Euthanasia & Pet Cremation Services in Corsicana, TX
BOOK APPOINTMENTWe’ll be here every step of the way.
We understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet can be a difficult and emotional experience. That’s why we offer pet euthanasia and cremation services to help pet owners during this difficult time. Pet euthanasia, also known as humane animal death, is a way to end the suffering of a pet that is in pain or has a poor quality of life. Pet cremation services provide a way for pet owners to honor the memory of their pets after their life.
When a pet is facing a terminal illness or is no longer able to live a comfortable life, pet euthanasia may be considered a humane option to end their suffering. At Rogers Animal Hospital, we understand that this is a difficult decision, and our veterinarians will work closely with pet owners to ensure that the process is as peaceful and comfortable as possible for the pet. The pet is given a sedative to relax them, followed by an injection of a larger dose of medication that causes the pet to pass away peacefully.
After the pet has passed away, pet owners may choose to have their pet cremated as a way to honor their memory. At Rogers Animal Hospital, we offer a variety of pet cremation services near you to suit the needs and preferences of pet owners. Some pet cremation services we offer are private cremation, which means the pet’s ashes are returned to the owner, and communal cremation, which means the pet’s ashes are not returned to the owner.
It is important to note that pet euthanasia and cremation are personal decisions, and pet owners should consider their own beliefs and values when making a decision. At Rogers Animal Hospital, we understand that this is a difficult time, and we will provide guidance and support to pet owners during the process.

Pre-euthanasia sedation
We go an extra step during the process that involves sedation of your pet with routine anesthetics. The pre-euthanasia sedation eliminates the patient’s fear response because he/she is completely anesthetized before the euthanasia medicine is administered. Our goal here is to offer the most humane and pain-free situation that we can.
Cremation and memorial options
Pet cremation is a service offered by our hospital. Remains can be returned, if you desire, in a wooden box with an engraved nameplate. Many clients find that cremation is a convenient means of handling a pet’s remains.
